Our mission is to offer sincere hospitality while providing a boutique Inn environment for every guest visiting our motel.

About Our Inn

Set in Wedowee, Alabama, located 90 miles from Atlanta, and 90 miles from Birmingham, The Old Waters Inn at Wedowee was lovingly restored in 2021 by a group of friends who decided to invest in the 1956 building originally known as The Tower Motel. The old motel was renovated and expanded upon in the 1980s and had a few different owners prior to 2021. Our current owners love the history of the motel and jumped at the chance to acquire it and bring it back to its former glory.

Guests of Old Waters Inn experience the convenience and charm of a boutique Inn while enjoying Lake Wedowee, area trails, local attractions, and the hospitality of East Alabama. The motel offers free parking, free WiFi throughout the property, and a comfortable lobby to visit with friends or work remotely. All rooms have Presidential Serta mattresses, luxurious linens, small seating areas, and flat-screen Smart TVs with cable network channels. All rooms have private bathrooms with oversized showers, hairdryers, and organic toiletries.

All guests are provided with an email confirmation and day of welcome. If arriving after hours, all guests are provided in the email the four-digit code allowing them to enter their room privately.
